Snow Party!

"No need to come to work today, all public transport is suspended" Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! We got ready as quick as we could and rushed out into the park. Hamish dragged me all the way along the street in excitement and then ran around like a loony wondering why he couldn't find the snowballs we threw for him.
We met so many friends it was busier than a summers day.
I AM the caped crusader, really I AM.
There were some very strange brilliant white people we hadn't met before but they weren't much fun....so Hamish pee'd on all of them.He tried making conversation but didn't get very far.I think this guy has seen better days. Heading for a meltdown I think....hehe!

I still can't quite get over being told you don't have to go to work because public transportation is shut down ...

haha Dennis. We up here do not understand it either. But we loved watching all of those pics on TV of Londoners having fun and being nice to each other and happy. Maybe everybody just needed a gloom busting day?

Poppy is arriving early next week - she turns 7 weeks on Sunday...we're so excited. Wouldn't have met you before - but will no doubt bump into you on forthcoming walks : I'm guessing these will be split between London Field, the Downs, Clissold park and the canal - which seem the obvious places to go with her. First time dog owner so am reading furiously and preparing, crate is in place, food bought, bed ready.
I'll pop back and link you to some pics when she's settled in. Cheers.

Poppy is a dream - as mischievous and attention seeking as you could imagine, but in equal measure loving, relaxed and intriguing :D 3 weeks till we can hit the streets but she's settled into her new home really well and housetraining has been a breeze! She's really looking forward to meeting Hamish after hearing all about him from Maisie and hopes he'll protect her from their nastier park neighbours :D

Hey there,
I'll make sure that Hamish is gentle with her when she finally arrives in the park. Once he gets to know her I'm sure he'll look out for her. It's unfortunate that there is a lot of misunderstanding about dog behaviour around.

Can't wait to meet you all.

I appear to have got into Twitter - help's family keep up with Poppy :D

She had her first day out yesterday - a bound around Hackney Downs. It was such a joy to run with her - and such a pleasure when she slept and slept :P
